This is Saltwater Dubbing

Saltwater Dubbing has been under development by Talon for the last 3 years, to find a workable material that contained a 3D Flash capability suitable for Saltwater Flies.

The end result is far better than we ever planned.

One of the advantages of our dubbing is that single strands can be used on saltwater flies like Eyes or small baitfish or even as ribbing on freshwater flies.

We would suggest that this dubbing be used as either rope dubbing or applying super glue to the thread and carefully wrapping the dubbing around the thread. The super glue method is my preferred way of applying this dubbing.

For builders of Bass Vampire flies this is a magical material and we would suggest either the Gold or Deep Marine Blue - this is a black/blue colour with a green 3D flash.

For Barra or Shad flies, the Bass Gold is the answer people have been looking for years. Deep Marine Blue, fantastic when used as dubbing on flies made to present a 'slimy's' or pilchards.

When using Talon Saltwater Dubbing we would also suggest using a clear mono type thread, like Talon Clear mono in either fine or heavy. This is to allow the reflections from the dubbing to be maximized.

Bass Gold, colours, gold, clear and electric purple.
