Teams will consist of 4 participants"One Fly"

Catch & Release
Team (4) and individual competition
Fisherman
may arrange for alternatives on a daily basis
Equipment:
Contestants will furnish their own fly fishing equipment
All conventional fly lines can be used
Contest
Flies:
Any fly pattern (dry, wet, nymph, streamer, Etc) may be
used as long as it is not larger than size # 8.
Weighted flies are permitted.
All flies must be on a single hook
Contestants will choose the particular fly they will use
each session.
This to be registered with organizers ½ hour prior
to session commencement.
Only a single fly is allowed on an angler's leader.
No fly droppers or fly/strike indicators are allowed.
Fishing
Procedures:
I.F.S. rules and regulations governing the waters to be
fished will be strictly observed.
All
trout species and salmon will be counted in the scoring
sessions:
Session scoring ends for the contestant when his official
fly becomes irretrievably lost.
No one to fish within 50 meters of another angler.
Contestants must wear (and have fastened) their life vests
while being transported on the water.
MAST regulations apply.
Once
again this event will take place in the Bronte area on the
weekend of 9th & 10th February 2008.

Talon
Australia - Talon leveller event will take place at
some stage during the weekend. This will be a distance and
accuracy competition. Where all casters cast the supplied
Rod and Line, The longest cast wins a Talon 6w 6pc 9ft Traveller
rod, reel and line that was used for the event.
