Talon RA has designed a rod using the famous Talon Midgar blanks for Overhead casting in the Salt. Each rod is a custom built casting tool. These rods have a number of advanced features and are built with SIC type guides and measured to suit the customer's body.

Yes, you can still use the Talon RA Double Handed Overhead rod in the freshwater.

Because the style of casting doesn't require a full length cork grip, only a hand sized grip is used, in this way the grip forces the casters hand to always be in the correct position on the rod. A great asset for night time casting/fishing.

The cork grips, the best we can obtain, the reel seat, the customer is free to select any reel seat he or she choices or supply the seat they wish.

Minimum of of epoxy is used to cover the guide wrapping because we are chasing the best possible performance possible.
