Greeting us this morning was a dark grey overcast sky which had a very cold icey wind running under it. Its time to add another layer of clothing

This afternoon the fishing was from 1.30 till 5pm down on the river, score for this effort, 5 fish which included 4 Rainbows 2x 36, 1 x 40 and 1 x 42cm and 1 x 42cm  Brown.

It doesn’t matter how small Browns are, they are all beautiful, this fish is from the river

Then came another trip down to the Portal from 5.30 till 9pm.

This turned out to be a shocker trip for me and a great trip for my friend John who had come along, because John grassed 7 fish and myself 1 Rainbow at 42cm and lost 7 other fish.
