The river has risen over 2 foot from yesterday and now racing to fill the Lake, The morning fish, nothing, not even a strike, even though at time my fly was bumping along the bottom.
This afternoon the flow had eased slightly, and this seemed to enable the fish to decide to feed, 2 rainbows one 42 and the other a 46cm fish
and 4 strikes from Browns, how do I know they were Browns because when they jumped or boiled the water I saw them all, them all as they threw the hook.
Then along came Steve, a different Steve to the one at Middlingbank, and there besides me caught a beautiful Brown fish, its wonderful to watch other people cast and nail a fish, as Steve was just develping his Down and Across fishing skills and had added the ever so slight life like movement to the fly in this kind of fishing and now it had paid super results, there in his hands.

There you go, this Dunny has the best view in Australia ! There is the River right below the Dunny on the plain
